Recurring Meetings
The Knoxville Chapter of EGA holds a chapter-wide quarterly meeting. Quarterly meetings consist of review of the minutes, a business meeting, reports by committees, and typically conclude with a presentation or project related to stitching. Presentations are by the members or an invited guest.
The various interest groups typically meet once a month. In addition, there are regular meetings of the Board, standing committees, and an annual President's Tea focused on the changing of officers and report of the year's activities. Finally, the chapter holds a 5th-Monday Stitch-in whenever there is a 5th Monday in the month.

- 5th Monday Stitch-in - August 31, 9:30am-3pm, St. Elizabeth's church
- Quarterly Chapter Meeting -October 13, 6:30pm, Messiah Lutheran church
- Board Meeting - October 11, 2pm, St. Elizabeth's church
Current Events
Group Correspondence Courses - Fall 2009 KnoxEGA is sponsoring two group correspondence courses beginning this fall. The courses are Luan B. Callery’s Hummingbird and Honeysuckle (stumpwork) and Ilse Altherr’s Swiss Sampler. See newsletter for information on signing up.
2009 Knoxville EGA Exhibit, Farragut’s Town Hall, September 18-20, 2009. Setup will be on Thursday 9/17 at 1pm, and take-down will be Monday 9/21. Exhibit hours:
- 8am to 5pm Friday 9/18
- 10am to 5pm Saturday 9/19

Annual Rummage Sale, October 13, in conjunction with the quarterly chapter meeting, Knoxville EGA Chapter,
Fall Chapter Retreat, Jubilee House, Abingdon, VA, October 16-18. Theme is "Friendship and Flowers."
Regional seminar is June 24-27, 2010 in Charleston WV
