Bandstand, Chilhoweek Park

Year Created: 1998

Built in 1910 for the Appalachian Exhibition, the ornamental
Bandstand was designed by local architect R.F. Graf and is located
in the middle of Chilhowee Park overlooking Lake Ottosee.
It was built with Tennessee pink marble donated by local marble
companies with white marble brick walls and white wooden
balustrades. The Bandstand is the only Edwardian-era building
remaining in the park, and is both a wedding venue and an attraction
at Tennessee Valley Fairs.
